This blog is primarily about Growing in Grace, in all of life:

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.  (2 Peter 3.18, ESV)

More importantly, outside of being a junior-varsity blogger, I play these roles:

• broken and dependent follower of Jesus Christ, child of God, receiver of the Spirit, lover of the Gospel, and student of the Scriptures.
• husband of my beloved bride, Susan.
• father of Colton (15), Isabella (13), Ezra (7), and Nehemiah (5).  Pictures below.
• senior pastor to the flock at Calvary Community Church.

I love to read, write, run, play disc golf, bike, hang out with good friends eating good food, spend time with my family, vacation in Duluth, and watch the occasional movie.
